We are beyond excited for this new culinary addition to our beautiful Boston. Nahita (100 Arlington St) took over former Liquid Art House and it is part of the international food and beverage company d.ream. It is inspired by Fenix, a Latin American and Asian fusion restaurant, one of Pamela's favorite restaurants in Istanbul, in fact both Nahita and Fenix share the same interior design concept (you will fall in love with the jungle-esque wallpaper near the bar). The tall marble columns, high ceilings and hip bar makes you stay there all night long. Still, the highlight of the visit was the exquisite and delectable dishes. Chef extraordinaire, Efe Onoglu presented us with the most delicious food that we have had in our entire life. And, to top it off they had a plate that included CHICHARRON! We started our culinary journey with the Cebiche sampler. The presentation was perfection. The plates were rich in color and the flavors transported us to Peru. The Fluke cebiche had sweet potato, red onion, cilantro and lime. The Blue Fin Tuna Nikkei (Pamela's favorite) had a delicious Dashi-Ponzu sauce that accentuated the fresh and heavenly taste of the fish. Finally, the yellow chili pepper leche de Tigre (citrus-based marinade) with the Hamachi cebiche had the perfect level of spicy we needed to start the night. ;) Now, who doesn't like Tacos? Chef Efe Onoglu outdid himself with the selections of Tacos. The Spicy King Crab tacos were mouthwatering, it was perfectly combined with the crispy Taro Root shell. We both love vegetarian options, so we also had the Zucchini Blossom tacos, they are a must! One of the things we like the most is that the tortillas from the tacos at Nahita are made with organic heirloom corn from Oaxaca, Mexico. NO GMOS! Did you think we were done eating? Paying homage to Chicharron, we had the Berkshire Pork Belly Chicharron. The presentation was pure excellence and on top of the pork belly it had delicious and crispy chicharrones. Then, we devoured the succulent Octopus Anticucho with salsa criolla. Finally, we had the Blue Fin Otoro, extremely fresh and brought directly from Japan and the Blue Fin Tuna Sashimi. The Sashimi was served with a savory Tosajoyu dipping sauce that made our mouths water. The cherry on top! The delicious Chocolate Soufflé with an exquisite passion fruit sauce. A must to finish your night! It was a pleasure to be able to enjoy all the fascinating flavors and magnificent dishes that Nahita has to offer. We cannot wait for you guys to try it!
Many thanks to the amazing Executive Chef Efe Onoglu and the courteous and talented team at Nahita!

Last month I had the pleasure of visiting one of the most beautiful countries in the world. There are so many things to fall in love with in India. The people are so loving and kind, the food is so fresh and rich in flavor and every mosque and temple will transport you into ancient times. I will provide you with my favorite spots in India and if one day you visit this magical place I hope you follow my recommendations. The first thing I did when landing was going for breakfast at the Leela Hotel (near the Delhi airport). It was the most spectacular breakfast my eyes have seen. You could basically eat until you passed out. They had all types of breakfasts, Indian, Chinese and American. Following my huge breakfast, it was time to check in the hotel and rest. I stayed at the Leela Hotel in the diplomatic enclave in New Delhi. Out of all the hotels I've visited in the world, the Leela outshines them with their service, decor, cleanliness and sophistication. Where to grab a cocktail?1)The Library Bar at The Leela Palace 2)NOI Bar at The Chanakya Mall (the most luxurious mall in New Delhi) 3)Cirrus9 at the Oberoi Hotel Where to eat? |
