Casa Romero: off Newbury St, tucked in an alley in the Back Bay
Authentic yet cozy mexican restaurant that has been around for 45 years. Not your regular tacos joint, this “upscale” but very reasonable priced spot is a gem in the Back Bay. Offering great options with an hacienda style concept, you will feel like you went to Mexico. Drink enough margaritas and you might really get to Mexico. 

Taco Mex: Maverick Square, East Boston
Located in the heart of East Boston, Taco Mex is fun, festive, in the up and coming Eastie. It is a family owned spot, giving it more of a friendly atmosphere where everyone is made to feel welcome and at home. 

Met Bar:  279 Dartmouth St, Back Bay
A Restaurant by Kathy Sidell, located in the Heart of Back Bay occupying a historic 1877 brick townhouse. Offering $6- 3 Tacos in the downstairs bar...it does not get any better if you are not in the mood for tequila but still want tacos.
