The 4th annual fundraising gala for the Boston Children's Museum "The Wonder Ball" was held this past weekend. More than 420 guest attended, raising over $600,000 in  critical funds to benefit the children of Boston. WIth the help of everyone this organization “raises funds to ensure NO CHILD is denied the opportunity to visit the Museum due to economic, physical, or developmental challenges”.

The Boston Children’s Museum was founded in 1913 by teachers interested in innovative learning opportunities. Boston Children’s Museum has become one of the most influential museums in the world, internationally recognized in creating and developing foundational skills that instill a lifelong incentive of learning. The museum exhibits and programs, emphasize hands-on engagement and learning through experience, using “play” as the tool to spark the inherent creativity, imagination and curiosity of children. Designed for children and families, the museum’s exhibits, activities, and programs focus on science, culture, literacy, environmental awareness, health & fitness, and the arts. This museum is also one of the few in the world to maintain a collection of over 50,000 artifacts from all over the world.

The Wonder Ball transformed the museum into a beautiful and enchanted venue. For this black tie event, the ladies attended with gorgeous gowns while the gentlemen wore graceful tuxedos. The trends that we liked the most were sequins for both men and women, and backless gowns such as the one the stunner Dr. Jenny Fitzsimmons wore. In the tented area of the venue we enjoyed taking photos with our friends at the photo booth and got tipsy with Mr. Walker at the Scotch Lounge. During the marvelous seated dinner, the gala’s co-chairs were introduced and they continued to raise funds for this wonderful cause. Following the dinner, we headed down to end the night eating desserts, drinking vodka soda’s and dancing, laughing and feeling joyous for being able to contribute to this important cause.

We would like to thank our friends Aisha Al Riyami, Al Wadhah Al Adawi, Julie Gordon and Phillip Gordon for being phenomenal gala chairs to such important event. Their unconditional love and support for institutions like the Boston Children’s Museum inspires us everyday to be kind and thankful individuals.
